SIMGRID was founded in 2005 as the fusion of CAE experts and micro-enterprises. The company headquarters is situated in Europe, Hungary located at the city of Pécs (the south west part of the country).

Fluid Flow analysis is the study of how fluids, such as air, liquids, and gases move in and around solid objects, such as airplane wings, automobile bodies, etc. SIMGRID and its former predecessor in title have been the first industrial companies in Hungary , which started to provide professional CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics ) services to numerically calculate fluid flow in different environments.
